Managing cross-functional teams in Cloud Delivery Excellence Centers (CDECs) is a critical factor for achieving
operational success in modern enterprises. The increasing demand for scalable, agile, and efficient cloud
solutions necessitates the creation of cohesive teams that can work across multiple functions, ranging from
software engineering to infrastructure and cloud services. This paper presents a framework for managing crossfunctional teams within CDECs, focusing on key aspects such as team dynamics, communication, leadership,
and performance measurement. The proposed framework integrates best practices from agile methodologies,
DevOps, and cloud architecture principles to foster a collaborative and efficient working environment. It
emphasizes the importance of aligning team goals with business objectives, ensuring continuous feedback loops,
and promoting a culture of innovation and problem-solving. By leveraging cloud technologies and automation
tools, cross-functional teams can streamline workflows, enhance decision-making, and accelerate the delivery of
high-quality solutions. Additionally, the paper highlights the role of leadership in bridging gaps between diverse
functions and ensuring that teams are equipped with the necessary resources, training, and support. The
framework also includes a set of metrics for evaluating team performance, identifying bottlenecks, and driving
continuous improvement. Through the application of this framework, organizations can optimize their cloud
delivery capabilities, improve customer satisfaction, and gain a competitive edge in the rapidly evolving cloud
services market. This research provides valuable insights for executives, managers, and practitioners in leading
successful CDECs and fostering long-term organizational growth.
