Abstract

Background:-The digital transformation of healthcare, driven by electronic health records (EHRs), telemedicine, and
the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT), has revolutionized patient care but simultaneously exposed healthcare systems
to unprecedented cybersecurity threats. Ransomware, phishing, insider threats, and third-party risks now jeopardize
patient safety, data privacy, and operational continuity, making cybersecurity a critical pillar of modern healthcare.
